Northwest Land & Timber is located in Pilot Mountain, NC in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our focus is to develop small properties (15 acres or less) in a variety of ways.

After retiring from 21 years of military service in the U.S. Coast Guard, owner Jason brought with him a wealth of experience from performing Search & Rescue and Law Enforcement operations along the shores of NC, CA, FL, LA, VA, and SC. The discipline, integrity, and strong work ethic gained during these years serve as the cornerstones of Northwest Land & Timber. In 2021, Jason's dream of pursuing a career in the outdoors came to fruition when he and his family established roots in Surry County.

NWLT focuses on meeting the goals of landowners by listening to their wishes and paying attention to the details that are important to them. Most timber harvesting companies focus on large land owners needs for a very simple fact of scale. It is common for large timber harvesting companies to be heavily mechanized operations not suited for smaller properties that are less than 15 acres.
